During my midwifery career, both as a community midwife and a mental health specialist midwife, I have been fortunate enough to run many antenatal courses, for the NHS, imparting valuable advice to many families expecting a new baby.
My courses are designed to prepare you for labour, delivery and for caring for your infant and are tailored to your individual needs, especially if you are not keen on a group antenatal environment.
Contact me for dates.
I am a member of the International Association for Infant Massage.
There are four sessions which can be taught in your own home or in a South East London venue.
See my facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/withinyou.co.uk/), email email@example.com or call me on 07867671713 for course dates and times or to book a course in your own home for yourself or a group of your friends/nct friends
I pioneered the breastfeeding cafes in Lewisham, opening the Bellingham Green Café in the early 2000’s. Both my daughters were breastfed for over 12 months.
My experience is both practical and knowledge based. During my career I sat on the committee working towards UNICEF baby friendly status for Lewisham Hospital.
I offer home visit advice and hope to empower you to be confident in feeding your baby.
Whether you have issues with latching, sore nipples, baby weight loss, supply issues, jaundice, tongue tie, sleep issues, babies with additional needs (e.g., premature), nipple/bottle confusion, colic and reflux - I can help, with a 1-2-1 session in the comfort of your home.
£60 per hour
As a midwife I attended many emergencies where I was called upon to resuscitate babies.
My course is 90 minutes long with refreshments. It is based on the St John’s Ambulance,"Five ways to save your baby’s life" plus many more helpful tips.
Children under 12 months can be brought to the course.

"I have just finished a baby massage course with Suzanne and I cannot recommend her classes enough.
She is so knowledgeable and incredibly generous with her time. It's obvious that she has loved her career as a midwife and seems to really care about each mother and baby. She has a rare gift of being able to put people immediately at ease and these classes were invaluable in the first stressful weeks of motherhood. Great way to meet other local mums. Can't recommend highly enough" Charlotte
"After a fulfilling 36 year career in the NHS, mainly as a community midwife, I have decided to share my wealth of knowledge with young families. I believe with the right support and encouragement, we can all find the parent within us. My experience is both professional and personal; I am a Mum and Grandma."
